The Phoenix Awards Executive Committee is seeking revitalization projects to recognize for excellence in brownfield redevelopment. One winner will be selected from each of EPA’s 10 regions, as well as an international winner, and all will be honored at an awards ceremony Nov. 13-15 in Boston. Oregon has begun planning for its 2007 Brownfields Conference, to be held March 1-2, 2007, at the Salem Conference Center in Salem, Ore. Sponsorship opportunities are available. The EPA recently announced the 2006 winners of brownfield grants. In Region 10, Oregon received three awards, Washington six, Idaho two and Alaska two. More at http://yosemite.epa.gov/opa/admpress.nsf
